At Tafarn Ty Gwyn we pride ourselves on the warmth of our welcome and the quality of our food, drink and social activities. We have an extremely varied menu of restaurant standard food available at pub prices. There is something here to appeal to everyone, even a separate vegetarian menu! Meals are homemade and served daily in our 50 seat restaurant, an attractive room which is also ideal for small functions. Wherever possible we source our ingredients, especially meat and fish, locally to ensure quality and freshness. Why not treat yourself and try one of our chef’s delicious homemade sweets?

As with any good pub we have a well stocked bar and regular guest real ale. Our large cellar bar is a great venue and welcomes both young and old to come along and enjoy themselves. We have two large screen TVs and Sky Sports and all major sporting events from football to rugby to boxing are shown live (licensing hours permitting). There is a comprehensive juke box, a fruit machine, a quiz machine and the ever popular pool table, home to our two extremely successful pool teams.

At Tafarn Ty Gwyn another popular highlight is live entertainment. Staged alternate Thursdays and Fridays and every Saturday evening there is again something to appeal to everyone. From a sing along with Lliwen on the keyboards to English/Welsh cabaret to country and western to a little rock and roll – and of course the ever popular Karaoke. There’s sure to be something for you.

Further attractions at Tafarn Ty Gwyn include a soon to be extended and improved outdoor seating area for those warm sunny days.
